Nina Singh IPS is the first woman IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre of 1989 batch of India, she has held several important posts under Rajasthan cadre. Served as Joint Director of CBI, Rajasthan from 2013 to 2018 and led investigations in various national and international cases. Nina Singh was born in 1966 in a lower middle class family in Bihar. He was very interested in studies since childhood, he completed his studies in the local government secondary school. Along with his education during his school days, he participated in sports to a considerable extent. After completing her schooling, she got admission in Mahila College, Patna for her higher education, and also studied at two very big educational institutes (Jaharlal Nehru University and Hubbard University) in the country and abroad. After completing his graduation in 1987, he returned to India and prepared for the UPSC service examination to join the Indian Administrative Department. He was selected as an Indian police officer in 1989, his cadre was first in Assam and later in Rajasthan.(Info)

Nina Singh completed her primary education in Bihar Government School and then took admission in Partner Women's College with Economics for higher education. For higher education, he completed his Masters in Economics from Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University and also studied at Harvard University.

Nina Singh married her batchmate IAS officer Rohit Kumar in 1993.




Career / Profession  : - 


Nina Singh started her career in 1989 as an Indian IPS Indian Police Officer. His cadre was Rajasthan, for 35 years he held several important government posts under the Rajasthan government and performed his duties efficiently. From 2013 to 2018, he served as Joint Director of the Central Investigation Agency, CBI, Rajasthan. On 28 December 2030, he was appointed by the Government of India as the Secretary General of the Central Industrial Security Force. The CISF Chief Industrial Security Force is a central paramilitary force that is responsible for manning airports, Delhi Metro, government buildings and strategic buildings across the country. Neena Singh will retire from the Administrative Department on July 31, 2024.
