Mohammad Abdul Arfath was born in 1998 in Hyderabad, India to a Muslim middle-class family, his father's name is Mohammad Salim and his mother's name is Mrs. Salim. Current age of Mohammad Abdul Arfath is 25 years. Arfath was very interested in studies since childhood, he completed his primary education in a local school in Hyderabad. He was very interested in sports along with school studies.
He studied science stream after securing more than 90% marks in secondary examination and after higher secondary he started studying technology. He went to America in 2023 to pursue higher education, and was completing his master's degree in information technology from Cleveland State University in America.
He was last seen on March 7, 2024, wearing a "white t-shirt, red jacket and blue jeans".
Arfath was missing for about three weeks after March 7, with no trace of him since March seven. Local authorities filed a missing person report and began a search, eventually three weeks later on April 8, 2024, when her body was found in Cleveland, Ohio.

Arfath's mother told a news outlet that Arfath misses his parents and friends so much that he wants to come home. His mother told him that he could come home only if he had university holidays and if necessary, his mother would send the money for the airfare.
His father, Md. Salim told the media that his son was probably abducted. He received a call from an unknown number and said that he demanded 1200 dollars or 1 lakh rupees to keep his son safe.
