Kalyan Banerjee was born on 4 January 1997 in a middle-class Hindu family in Bankura district of West Bengal. His father's name is Bholanath Banerjee and his mother's name is Shivani Banerjee. As a child, he was very talented in studies, completed his Higher Secondary with Commerce from a local school, then from Bankura Sammilani College (B Com) and LLB in Law and Constitution. B completes education. After completing his education, he started practicing as an advocate in the Calcutta High Court from 1981, at the same time he entered politics. Became a member first of the Indian National Congress and later of the All India Trinamool Congress.



Educational Qualification : -

Kalyan Banerjee completed his B.Com in Commerce from Shali Sammilani College, Bankura in 1972-75 after completing his primary education. He then completed LL.B in Constitution and Law.



Career :-

After completing his education in Constitutional Law, he started his career in 1981 by practicing law and advocacy in Calcutta High Court. He continued his political career from 1981 to 2023, at the same time he joined politics, initially joining the Indian National Congress and becoming a member of the Trinamool Congress after the formation of the West Bengal Trinamool Congress Party in 1999.




Political Life :-


After West Bengal Indian Trinamool Congress was formed in 1999, he joined Trinamool Congress and worked in the organization of Trinamool Congress for a long time. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, All India Trinamool Congress candidate contested the election from Asansol North Lok Sabha constituency and became an MP. Currently he is known as one of the current members of Parliament of India.
