Saloni Verma was born in 1994 to a middle-class family in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand state, India. He was born in Jharkhand but grew up in New Delhi, India. His father was a booker by profession, he practiced as an advocate in the Supreme Court and his mother was a homemaker. Saloni was very focused on studies from an early age, completing her schooling at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School, a popular private school in Delhi. He got 89% marks in secondary examination, after which he started studying science subjects. He then scored 93% percent in the Higher Secondary Examination after which he completed his graduation in English from Hindu College, Delhi.

UPSC 1 St Attempt : -
In 2018, he started UPSC preparation during his third year of college. He thought to clear UPSC by 2019, he started UPSC preparation from August 2018 but preparation remained incomplete due to lack of discipline and failed in first attempt.
UPSC 2 nd Attempt : -
After failing in UPSC 2019, he was disappointed but made himself strong again. Realizing all the mistakes of the first time, he completely disciplined himself the second time and started preparing for the UPSC exam with his goal in mind. Due to his hard work and long determination, he became an IAS officer by securing 70th rank in UPSC 2020 in the second examination.

Saloni Verma She loved reading more at night. He used to wake up at nine in the morning and by ten o'clock he would have breakfast and start his studies. He used to study regularly for 8 to 10 sometimes 11 hours, he studied in divided time. From 10 to 11 o'clock he used to study Hindu news paper for one hour and then after 10 to 15 minutes rest he started studying another subject. He always liked to study divided into (2+2+2+2+2) hours. He used to go to bed at two or sometimes half past two.
