From 2017 he completely started preparation for wbcs only entrance exam. He got admission in a report preparation center in West Bengal, and started studying regularly for 9 hours a day. At that time he did not bother about anything else except his studies. During that time he kept himself in complete isolation, did not attend any social events, did not go to any relative's house and even if any relative came home, he could not spend proper amount of time with him. For this he had to face a lot of discussion and criticism. Neighbors and relatives used to tell him when you could not pass such simple exams like SSC, Bank, Post Office. Then forget dreaming of such a difficult exam like WBS, you will not get any job, tell your father and get married. But Ipsita did not listen to all these criticisms of neighboring relatives and worked hard, sticking to her goals. He regularly studied for 8 to 10 hours and practiced Koschen Ansar. Even after giving his all for wbcs preparation, he sometimes felt lack of confidence. Sometimes he thought that if he is studying so hard, he will get selected, otherwise all his efforts will be in vain. Thus first appeared in WBCS exam 2018 preliminary exam but got stuck in mains. Again he started preparing for 2019 WBCS exam, then appeared in WBCS 2019 exam and scored 25. After overcoming all obstacles and dangers, he became established as a WBCS officer.
